I’m a big fan of Psychonauts so I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to play Brutal Legend and I was not disappointed, after having a little trouble getting my code to work I got early access to the demo with my pre-order. You’ve probably already heard that the imagery in this game is a heavy metal album cover come to life with the soundtrack to go with it. I’m here to tell you that you may not realize just how awesome that is until you see it first hand, personally I had an ear to ear grin from the opening scene on, and the comedy and metal goodness just kept coming.
Originality is kinda hard to come by in the gaming world today but I can honestly say that Brutal Legend stands alone in a really awesome looking hell. Tim Schafer’s brand of over-the-top, gritty, comedic, and all around awesome story telling make this game compelling, unique, and very entertaining and that’s just the demo.

I have to agree. it is totally like an album cover come to life.
when black sabbath kicked in i was like, “no way!”
If i was going to make a non zombie or solider based video game it would definitely have been Brutal Legend! that being said, the moves are a bit basic, hopefully as you progress the keep adding new moves. The game is so awesome though it would still rule with the basic set.
